The grammar school of Uotsola. The postcard
taken from the side of the village road is from somewhere at the beginning of
the 1930s. The two pictures on the yard are from the end of the 19th century. The
photographer of the old picture was a teacher of that time called Adolf Hilden,
who was not only a teacher and a talented photographer, but also an active
municipal man. The construction of the school was delayed, and eventually its
timber was gotten from a dismantled church. For a long time there was also a
municipal office within the building.
