Uotsolan entinen puhelinkeskus; nykyään Terttu Eteläisen kampaamo. -Tämän keskuksen kautta kulkivat pitäjän kaikki kaukopuhelut. Tyrvään Telefooni Osake-Yhtiö veti puhelinlinjan Uotsolaan 1897 ja liittymiä tuli kahdeksan. 1920-luvun alussa Mouhijärvi ja Suodenniemi perustivat oman puhelinyhtiön, joka säilyi aina vuoteen 1973. -Puhelinvaihdetta hoitamassa Hellin Postinen. 

The former telephone exchange of Uotsola; these days Terttu Eteläinen’s hairdresser’s. Through this centre proceeded every long distance call in the rural municipality. The telephone LLC (limited liability company) of Tyrvää winded up a telephone line to Uotsola in 1897 and eight connections were made. At the beginning of 1920s, Mouhijärvi and Suodenniemi founded their own telephone company, which lasted all the way to 1973. The telephone exchange is being maintained by Hellin Postinen.
